Success

“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”

Ben Franklin

Being successful is a desire most people have no matter what their age. We often compete against others to achieve success, through sports, work or school. But what does success really mean? The definition we like to use for this curriculum is the accomplishment or achievement of an objective or goal. Success can give you financial rewards, social status and fame. However, in this curriculum, we are looking for something more personal. We want you to focus on what really gives you meaning in your life. What brings you happiness and personal growth? It may mean that your goals are related to family, friends, your work, or  spirituality. Again, it is personal. We use the tagline “be the best YOU that you can be”, for a reason. We truly want you to be successful no matter what your goals are in your life. That’s why we named the website developingcharacter.org. We realize that growth and achievement take time and need to be worked on and developed daily.

We will be creating a Changing Lives Newsletter soon. We want to hear from you and your successes using The Dog Tag Challenge. These may be individual successes, team or classroom, work, business, family and friends, spiritual and more. We want to feature your success stories in our newsletter. We want to hear your story.
